Home Delivery

We deliver a wide range of items, including fence panels. However, please note that Calor gas is excluded from our delivery service. Free delivery is available for orders exceeding £250.

We deliver Monday to Friday during trading hours, which vary by branch. Please contact your local branch for specific delivery times.

Paint Mixing

Yes, we offer a complimentary colour matching service in store. To get started, simply bring along a sample of the colour you’d like us to match, such as a piece of cloth or paper. We adhere to the Dulux standard to ensure high quality and accuracy in the colours we produce. The process takes approximately 30 minutes from start to finish.

We can match colours across a wide range of paint types including emulsion, gloss, satin, masonry, Hammerite, and Cuprinol Garden Shades. While the colour matching service is free, you will only need to pay for the product itself.

Our Birtley, Peterlee and Ashington branches offer this Dulux standard paint mixing service.

Door Fitting

We fit both internal and external wooden doors. Our fitting services are available locally to each of our branches. Please contact your local branch for more information on how we can assist with your specific door fitting needs.

  3. Agreed Fitting: Once you are happy with the quote and decide to proceed, we will agree on a fitting date that is convenient for you. Our professional team will then carry out the installation to the highest standards.

Wood Cutting

Whilst this service is primarily for wood purchased from Maxwells, our cutting teams would be happy to help you providing what you need cut is clean and free from screws and fixings. The best thing to do would be to visit one of our cutting rooms and chat to a member of staff for a final decision. If the wood is small enough to take to show them please do or take some clear pictures to explain. They would agree a price with you before any cuts are made.

Yes, we offer a cutting service for kitchen worktops. You can purchase any wood-based worktop from us, and we will cut it to your specified dimensions.
